Returning to an ancestral territory to pass on the living memory of his people is the mission of Lucien Civette, a sixty-year-old Teko Amerindian, who is traveling up the Camopi River in French Guiana. Accompanied by members of his community and a translator, it is essential for him to preserve the mythical and historical knowledge of lands now abandoned by imposed sedentarization.
