Selection at the FIFAC Festival: L’âme du bois by Denis Dommel

The film Wood’s soul, or L’âme du bois in French, directed in 2021 by Denis Dommel is part of the selection of the FIFAC Festival in Saint Laurent du Maroni from October 12 to 16, 2021.

Presented to the public on October 14, the film has lived a great reception in Guyana and a column was written on the occasion of its premiere.

A deserved selection and thus recognized for this immersive film at the heart of an authentic knowledge and about the passion of wood. Moreover, The Soul of Wood invites the viewer to take all the measures and issues around the protection of the forest and sustainable development through this practice of wood carving.

TiFoli is going to the Annecy Festival

TiFoli, co-produced by Dynamo Production, MWÈM Foundation (Haïti) and Aurora Dominica (Dominican Republic), will be presented at the MIFA (International Animation Film Market) of the Annecy Festival, taking part in the Partner Pitches of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Le pitch will occur on the 17th June between 10AM and 11AM (UTC+2) on site and on MIFA online, it will remain accessible online until the 31st of december 2021.

Dynamo is now producing animation

Since last year, Dynamo Production is open to a new genre, we are now  going with animation projects !

We have the pleasure to bring to your screen two projects really soon : an animated serie named Tifoli and a short film appointed Fleur Damnée. These works in stop motion, actually in development, are co-produced by Haïti and the Republican Dominica. 

Tifoli is sustained by the “Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie” (OIF) via the program Clap ACP.

Selection and first TV streaming for Dreaming in the Red Light

We are happy to announce to you that our last film Dreaming in the Red Light by Pabelle Manikan has been selected at the international festival of documentary Docs By The Sea in the category “Fresh Wave“.

An international recognition for the second film of Pabelle, a young writer-director with which we are proud to work. She has filmed during two years in Philippines the life of an ex-prostitute and her daughter who will try to avoid the obstacles to follow a different path than her mother’s.

This program has been developed with the association DocMonde during the residence Asiadoc.
