Summary
Aïssata Pouye, visually impaired, lives in the Dakarian suburb in Senegal. She is the mother of six children, five of them are blind. She is struggling, as a woman, a mother and a leader of an association for students’ parents of inclusive schools, to give young blind people access to knowledge.
This film has been developed in writing residence Africadoc, organised by Docmonde and Ardèche Images in 2013 and created as part of the collection Light of Africa.
Founded in
2003, Dynamo Production, an independent French company, is dedicated to film
production. Its main objectives are to defend an author policy through unique
and innovative artistic projects, and to work with partners allowing
productions to exist and be broadcasted.
